- Check system permissions: Go to your device Settings → Apps → Tasklr → Notifications and ensure they're enabled
- Check in-app settings: Open Tasklr → Settings → Notifications and verify notifications are enabled
- iOS: Ensure "Critical Alerts" are enabled for deadline notifications
- Android: Check that Battery Optimization is disabled for Tasklr (Settings → Apps → Tasklr → Battery → Unrestricted)
- Restart the app: Close completely and reopen

Notifications arrive late or not at all
Android users:
- Disable battery optimization: Settings → Apps → Tasklr → Battery → Unrestricted
- Allow background activity: Settings → Apps → Tasklr → Mobile data & Wi-Fi → Background data (enable)
- Some Android manufacturers (Samsung, Xiaomi, Huawei) have aggressive battery savers that kill background apps. Check manufacturer-specific settings.
iOS users:
- Ensure Background App Refresh is enabled: Settings → General → Background App Refresh → Tasklr (on)
- Check Focus/Do Not Disturb settings aren't blocking notifications
👤 Account & Login Issues

Can't sign in with Google or Apple
- Check your internet connection: OAuth requires active internet
- Update the app: Ensure you have the latest version from the App Store/Play Store
- Clear app data (last resort): This will sign you out but won't delete your tasks (they're saved in the cloud)
- iOS users: Settings → Privacy → Tracking → Allow Tasklr to request tracking (required for OAuth)

Don't worry! Your tasks are safe in the cloud. Try these steps:
- Sign out and sign back in: Settings → Account → Sign Out, then sign in with the same account
- Check your internet connection: Tasks sync when connected to internet
- Force sync: Pull down on the task list to manually refresh

How do I restore my subscription on a new device?
- Open the app and navigate to the paywall or subscription screen
- Tap "Restore Purchases" at the bottom
- Sign in with the same Apple ID (iOS) or Google account (Android) you used to purchase
- Your premium features should unlock immediately
- Note: You must sign in with the same account used for the original purchase

- Check your subscription: AI features require an active premium subscription
- Internet connection: AI processing requires internet connectivity
- Task complexity: Very simple tasks (like "Buy milk") may not need breakdown and won't trigger AI
- Try again: Sometimes the AI service is temporarily busy - wait 30 seconds and retry

App is slow or crashing
Try these troubleshooting steps:
- Restart the app: Close completely (swipe away from recent apps) and reopen
- Update to latest version: Check App Store/Play Store for updates
- Free up storage: Ensure you have at least 500MB free space on your device
- Clear app cache:
- iOS: Delete and reinstall app (your data is in the cloud and won't be lost)
- Android: Settings → Apps → Tasklr → Storage → Clear Cache (NOT Clear Data)
- Check for OS updates: Ensure your device OS is up to date
